Mori Points Terms

Effective: 2026-09-28

Mori Points are our way of saying thanks for being part of Mori's Korea โ€” for checking in, learning something new, and sticking around. This page explains how you earn them, what they are and aren't, when they expire, and how we handle changes. These terms are part of our Terms of Use.

The short version: every current way to earn points is listed below with its exact value, there's a daily limit, and points have no cash value and can't be transferred. We decide what earns points and what they can be used for, and we can change it โ€” but we post changes here in advance, not after the fact. See Changes to These Terms.

1. What Mori Points Are

Mori Points are a thank-you benefit that Mori's Korea gives for activities and events that we choose. They aren't money, stored value, or a financial product, and they aren't your property. We decide who can earn points, for what, and how many โ€” and we can't promise that any particular way of earning them will continue. Where we run a special event or promotion, its points follow the separate rules we announce with it.

2. How You Earn Mori Points

These are the ways to earn points at the moment, and their current values. If something's not on this list, it doesn't earn points.

These are the values in effect today. They're introductory values, not permanent ones โ€” see Changes to These Terms below. There's no referral or invite program right now; if we start one, we'll announce its rules on this page before it begins.

What counts as a "day": we count days in UTC. A new day starts at midnight UTC โ€” that's 9:00 a.m. in Korea โ€” and check-ins, the daily draw, and the daily limit all reset then.

3. Daily Limit

Mori Points from all sources combined โ€” check-in, streak bonuses, quizzes, and the daily draw โ€” are capped at 200 points per account per day. If your activity in a day would add up to more than that, you still get points up to the daily limit; the cap just protects the points system for everyone.

4. What You Can Do With Points

Right now, Mori Points can only be earned โ€” there's no way to spend, redeem, or convert them yet. Your balance and activity history are visible any time on your Account page.

When we have the chance, we may offer things you can use points for. These are ideas we may explore, not a menu and not a promise โ€” no specific reward, price, quantity, or date has been decided:

When a real way to use points goes live, we'll announce it on this page, with how it works, rather than quietly turning it on. Any perk is offered for as long as we make it available, in the quantity we decide.

5. Points Have No Cash Value โ€” and Can't Be Moved

Mori Points can't be bought with money, sold, traded, exchanged for cash, gifted, or transferred to another account or person. You can't share an account to pool points, and points can't be inherited or passed on to anyone else, including after a death. Points only ever work as points, on this site. If someone tries to buy, sell, or transfer points, we may cancel those points and close the accounts involved.

6. Expiry

Points don't last forever. Currently, points expire 12 months after the day you earn them. Points that expire are removed from your balance. We set the expiry period, and we may change it โ€” but we post any change on this page first: at least 30 days before it applies to points you already hold, or 7 days before it applies only to points you earn from then on.

7. Account Deletion and Changes to the Program

8. Corrections and Misuse

9. Age Requirement

Earning and using Mori Points requires being at least 14 years old. We confirm this with a one-time birth-year question after you sign in โ€” see our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.

10. Changes to These Terms

This is the part we take most seriously: if we change how points are earned, capped, or eventually redeemed, we'll announce it on this page before the change takes effect โ€” we won't change it quietly. A change to how you earn points in the future takes effect at least 7 days after we post it, and a change that affects points you already hold โ€” like a shorter expiry period or ending the program โ€” takes effect at least 30 days after. A change to future earning rates never takes back points you've already earned. If you keep earning or using points after a change takes effect, you accept it; if you don't, you can stop and ask us to delete your account.
